Child care Nothing can be more heart wrenching and frustrating for a doting parent than to listen to the never ending cries of their little wonders. Needless to say that all parents have to deal with the situations when despite their best efforts, the kid does not seem to stop crying. Remember that crying is the only mode of communication and attention seeking behavior of your kid and she herself does not enjoy that much. However she does not have a choice as she has still not learnt to put words to her feelings. So if you keep that in mind, may be you will be in a better position to deal with it.

Following are a few of the situations which lead to babies to cry and seek the attention of their parents:

Child care tipsHungry: Take some raw milk in a bowl and heat it just enough to make it tepid. Dip cotton swab in this tepid milk and rub on face, hands, neck for about 10 min. Now wait for 20 min after application. Let it become dry and get completely absorbed into the skin. Thereafter wash with lukewarm water. This procedure will help in cleaning the skin from deep inside.

Sleepy:A lot of kids become little cranky when they feel sleepy and the only way they can vent their feelings is by crying. So put her to sleep. Sing soothing lullabies to her and she will sleep like a baby.

Feeling too cold/warm: A lot of babies want to be warm and bundled up. However if you over do it, her only way to seek your attention is by crying. So relax her a bit and she will be happy.

Pampered: A lot of babies want to be pampered, to be loved, to be cuddled and held tight, to be appreciated and talked to and smiled at. They liked to be kissed and pampered. If you do all that, she will love that and stop giving tears to you.

Child Care And HealthUncomfortable: Wet kids invariably cry asking their parents to get them out of the messy situation and make them dry. Also if they find themselves in uncomfortable situations, they cry to get out of their little mess.

Unwell: If your little wonder is unwell, she is running fever or is having running nose, she is bound to cry asking in her small manner to help her out.

Remember one thing that crying is perhaps good for you as it is giving you an indication that something is wrong with your kid that is demanding attention. So check and double check your kid. Nothing can be more satisfying and emotional moment for a parent than sudden smile on the face of a crying child who has been pampered and attended to by you and so feels happy about the same.

While stress level in moderation is very much required to keep going and have little bit of excitement in life, too much of it is also a source of many an ailments and personality related disorders and misgivings. Rest assured we can wish away stress from our life. But we can definitely try to manage stress.

Following 10 steps will help you understand and cope up with the stress level effectively:

  1. The first step to deal with stress is to understand that you are feeling stressed out. The difference between positive and destructive stress is very thin. So always make a conscious attempt not to fall prey to too much stress.
  2. Remember that heavens are not going to fall if things go wrong in office. Take small but determined steps towards solving the problem which is causing you stress. The first step is the key.
  3. Bosses are thought to be biggest stress givers. Try to be in their position. Think from their angle. May be they are under greater stress as they are responsible for a large number of persons like you.
  4. Procrastination is the biggest cause of stress and anxiety. It remains in the back of our mind in sub conscious state when we delay things for no apparent reasons. It is so natural for all of us. Do not delay things. Remember you alone are responsible for that. So why not finish it as fast as possible.
  5. If you are feeling stressed out, take a break and go to your favorite holiday destination with your buddies or family members. A well deserved beak from hectic life style is the biggest stress buster.
  6. If you are feeling stress due to personal issues, communication is the key to your problems. Do not allow your inflated egos and pre conceived notions to come in the way of having a constructive dialogue with your spouse or other family members. Life is too small to wait for the other person to make the first move. Be the first one.
