BudapestFast Facts Budapest consists of three cities. Buda, and Obuda on the west side of the river Denuba and Pest on the opposite side. Today Obuda and Buda are often just referred to as Buda, with majority of tourists attractions such as palaces and spas, and the more commercial area is known as Pest. Major Attractions The most famous landmark of Budapest is the Parliament building on the banks of the river Danube.
