Kenya Safari is perhaps one of the most popular of holiday safaris of the region and has to be seen and taken part in to really enjoy the feeling.

Fast Facts
Visas are required to enter Kenya. They can either be obtained in advance through the various Embassies/High Commissions abroad, or at the airports or other ports/borders of entry. The process is fast and easy and all one requires to have is a valid passport (at least six months) and the fee is US$50, payable in cash US dollar. English is widely spoken and understood in the region

How to reach
Kenya has a relatively well developed air transport system. Over 30 foreign airlines operate to and from Kenya through the country's international airports, namely the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi, the Moi International Airport (MIA) in Mombasa and the Eldoret International Airport, in Eldoret. In addition many local, foreign and private firms as well as individuals operate charter flight services within the country. The country is well-served by an efficient network of charter flights which is supported by over 150 airstrips spread all over the country. Wilson Airport in Nairobi handles light aircraft and general aviation. Scheduled and chartered domestic flights operated privately have taken advantage of the development of aerodromes at Wilson Airport.

What to do
Wildlife and Adventure are the two words which sum up all you can do and enjoy in the world famous Kenya Safari. There are a number of Kenya safari options such as Beacon Holidays Safari tours, Eastern & Southern Safaris Ltd etc. which operate the Safari and their package generally includes accommodation, sightseeing and travel. The sheer joys of watching from a parked car, a pride of lions crossing the road right in front of the car to wander to the other side where they lay down as if to pose for tourists is mind blowing. The feeling is same in various parks that you may visit with giraffes, wild beasts and cheetah practically touching your car in a casual and unassuming manner. The Amboseli National Park, in the south east of Nairobi is home to big eared elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro from the place is breathtaking and panoramic adding to the already wonderful feeling of being in the place. Kenya has an advantage over other wild life spots is that Kenya’s bush is brush land for miles around and the wide open spaces are ideal for wild life watchers. So tourists get awesome views of wild buffaloes, rhinos and flamingoes all trying to live in perfect harmony with nature. There are also lucky sites of annual migration of wild beasts which can be seen in the Masai Mara in Kenya.
