Las Vegas- the very name that flashes images of casinos of all sorts and a great and electrifying atmosphere is an ideal tourists’ destination for those who want to have just one element in their holidays- FUN. Yes the place is the fun capital of the US and in fact of the whole world and fun and gambling are the only attractions that bring millions of tourists from all parts of the globe to experience the grand oasis of enjoyment and relaxation. How to Reach
McCarran International Airport is located at the southern end of the city 5 miles (8km) south of downtown. There are a number of buses plying between the airport and the city. Taxis are also available. For local transport, the best way to get around is the inexpensive shuttle buses that run between the big casinos and hotels 24 hours a day. Taxis are also available but are a bit pricey. You can also rent a car if you want to be on independent and your own.

Las Vegas is also the place with a lot of tourists’ attractions. Boulder City which is 30 minutes away from Las Vegas has a beautiful Hoover Dam along with plenty of sights to see. North to Las Vegas about 80 miles away is a State park called The Valley of Fire that has beautiful rock formations. Las Vegas also affords an opportunity to go for wonderful hiking, trekking and rock climbing in Red Rock Canyon. Las Vegas also has many fine public libraries, outdoor parks, and recreation opportunities for a complete family vacation. The holiday is also made memorable with, high-wire walkers, trapeze artists and clown shows being held on a regular basis and adding to the fun atmosphere of the place.

Las Vegas is the place where you can have any number of options depending upon your taste, budget and preferences. Majority of first class hotels have their own casinos and their awesome design and architecture will leave you spell bound. The new Wynn hotel and casino is a place to see. Venetian hotel is modeled around Venice itself, including gondola features and is a great option for families. Various inexpensive options such as motels, apartments and hostels are also available which allow tourists to enjoy the city without a hole in the pocket.

There can not be a better option than Las Vegas for night owls. The place with its innumerable casinos, pubs, strip clubs, cafes and beer bars are open till wee hours in the morning and offer great entertainment and fun. The place is also replete with a large number of restaurants offering international cuisine.
