Los Angeles (L.A) is city of great American dreams, a city of fashion and Hollywood, a city which has given shape to a number of dreams and hopes. Every year the city attracts hordes of visitors and tourists who want to experience the exhilarating atmosphere and electrifying vibrancy. The city has everything for every one and is a great study of contrasts with wealth and opulence and poverty and deprivation all there to see and experience.

How to Reach
The most common way to reach Los Angeles, is by way of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) which serves as a gateway between the United States and the Pacific, South America and Asia. There are other airports in Long Beach, Burbank and Ontario. Also, LA is served by train via Amtrak and Metro link. Los Angeles is also home to a fantastic seaport which offers cruises between the west coast, Mexico, Hawaii, Catalina Island, and other exciting ports. Although LA is definitely built for cars, it is possible to get around on public transportation. There are four light rail lines (Red, Gold, Blue, Green) as well as a commuter system (Metrolink) and Amtrak for local transport. Private taxis are available but pricey.

Los Angeles is a city of dreams and the same applies to the hotels and accommodations available in the city. From high end and extremely pricey 5 and 7 stars rooms and suites offering rooms at hundreds of dollars a night to modest motels and Bed and Breakfast apartments.

L.A. is a great tourist destination with world famous BEVERLY HILLS, HOLLYWOOD, UNIVERSAL CITY, MALIBU, SANTA MONICA, VENICE, BURBANK, SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, PASADENA, CENTURY CITY, SOUTH BAY, WESTCHESTER, & EL SEGUNDO, BURBANK/SAN FERNANDO VALLEY being the major tourist attraction. The Chinatown and Korea town are also world famous for exotic sea food and great shopping areas selling wares at bargain prices. Olvera Street, Union Station near Chinatown is never to be missed. The world class Ritz Carlton and famous Rose Bowl flea market are must see in your itinerary. The Norton Simon Museum has the largest collection of Rembrandt etchings in the world. The extensive botanical gardens include the Japanese Gardens, Zen Garden, Tea House; Rose gardens; Cactus Gardens; Austrailian Gardens; Shakespeare Garden. Westwood Village housing Anderson School of Business and the world famous UCLA Medical Center is also a favourite tourists spot.
